National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA)
• NGA will be consolidating and realigning its current facilities in the National Capital Region to Fort Belvoir.
• The NGA Campus East facility is being constructed in the Fort Belvoir North Area.
• The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Baltimore District, is managing this $1.77 billion project.
• The facility will include a main office building, visitor control center, technology center, central utility plant, remote inspection facility, and parking.
• The 2.4 million square foot facility will accommodate 8,500 personnel.
• Construction is approximately 75% complete and is scheduled to be completed in spring 2011.
